Intelligent Design (Creationism) vs Evolution

I can remain silent no longer. To have the courts in Pennsylvania rule that ID cannot be taught as an alternative theory is, in my opinion, irresponsible.

I happen to believe that a benevolent God created the universe. But that is beside the point. Even Darwin knew that his theory was just a theory and needed a lot of evidence to prove it. In fact, Darwin even specified some things that would disprove his theory. One thing was that a lot of species could not arise in a relatively small amount of time (evolutionally speaking). Guess what, that's something that evolutionary scientists have discovered with carbon dating, thus causing an inconsistency within the theory.

If you are a student, ask what other theories there are besides Darwin's evolution. Since that theory has some problems with it, ask what research is trying to bolster the theory or propose different ones.
